A streamlined process for Certification of Senior Ecologists
ESA members who have at least 10 years of experience beyond their Ph.D may apply for certification at the senior level by submitting their full resume, signing the Code of Ethics and submitting a payment of $125.00. This means that a list of course work, experience and references will not be required for these senior ecologists. Streamlined applications will be reviewed by the ESA’s elected Board of Professional Certification and must meet the same program guidelines and requirements as all other applications for certification. The Board of Professional Certification will reserve the right to request further information only if deemed necessary.
